Unstable Ending: One to Four Mistakes
Unstable is the messy survival. IGN, BlueStacks, and CheatStation put it at one to four mistakes, as long as you did not open the package or look back at 2AM.
The band, and what sits outside it
Zero is Perfect. Five, with the Inspector fully out and touching you, is Neutralized. Unstable is the gap between those. The guides also say a rule-based ending overrides the mistake count. Silence, Erased, Death Note, and the TV route are not Unstable even if your mistake total would have landed in the one-to-four band.
The public result line is that you live and get replaced, and the loop continues. I am not adding a cutscene beat that only one video numbers as ending 2 or ending 3. Kafovik56's six-part video uses its own order. I will not map Unstable onto a chapter number.
Unstable Shift is a badge from 23 Oct 2025 with 6,482,519 awards. Fandom's condition is finishing a shift with some mistakes, which matches the ending band without copying it word for word. The Inspector's early phases are the warning that you are already inside this band.
If you want the clean exit, read Perfect. If the floor entity is already at full height, read Neutralized.
Questions
Is one mistake already Unstable?
Yes, on all three guides. You do not need to reach four.
Can Internal Control pull me back to Perfect?
The item's effect is disputed. I would not promise a reset to zero mistakes.
Why do videos say ending 4?
That is a chapter number, not this name.
