Yes. You can play with friends. Fandom and BloxInformer say a run holds 4 people. The public Roblox record says the server holds 30 and private servers are not allowed.

Join from the Roblox page with Play, or join a friend who is already in a server. There is no separate client. The record also says creating a VIP server is not allowed, so I am not describing a private room. Split screen is not mentioned anywhere I opened. The 4-player run is community reporting. The 30-player server is the public record. I am not blending them into one cap.
Voice and camera: the Roblox page I read says they are not supported. Fandom's box says both are supported. I am following the Roblox page and keeping Fandom as the disagreement. TechWiser suggests one person on cameras and one on the wrap. A competing page says an anomaly hits the whole group. That teamwork line is advice, not a matchmaking description.

Yes. Two is inside the 4-player run the guides describe.
Is there a private server?
The public record says VIP servers are not allowed.
Is voice chat on?
The Roblox page says no. Fandom says yes. I am not picking Fandom over the page.
Cross-play?
It is a Roblox experience. I have no extra cross-play program to describe.
